With reference to Mr. Grindle's letter of the 3rd June 1920 (19822/1920) and subsequent correspondence, I am directed to state that the Board of Education have decided to
recommend Liss Olive Cly Jenkins, Kiss Ivy Ruth F. Etheredge, Miss Agnes E. Hendry, Miss Isabelle S. Hurrey, and Miss Alice M. Grant for Appointment as Asristant stresses, Hong Kong. Particulars of their qualifications and experience will be found in the attached papers.
Mr. B. Tanner and Mr.
. Cherrill H.. Inspector of
Schools were members of the Selection Committee when Miss
Jenkins, iss Etheredge and Kiss Hendry were interviewed and
Kr. Tanner and Mr. Jamieson H.. Chief Inspector of Schools for Scotland interviewed Miss Murray and Kiss Grant in Fdinburgh.
